In 1980, Bob & Rose Fouquette founded Big Wheel Truck Sales located in East Freetown, MA, near the fishing harbor of New Bedford. They quickly graduated to the sale of heavy duty trucks, as well as heavy duty towing & recovery. Their first tow truck was originally owned by Sunbeam Bread, which is how they adopted their signature bright yellow color for their trucks. As Big Wheel Truck Sales evolved, it remained a family run business including daughter Linda, sons David & Eric, and grandchildren Jordan & Jade.
